Skin Care Company

With the proliferation of off-the-shelf skin care products in the market, it’s hard to tell which skin care company provides the most desirable results. As a beauty aficionado, you might be concerned about the claims of skincare companies regarding their products. Are they telling the truth about their ingredients, or are they just paying you lip service?

If you’re looking for a skin care company that offers clinically tested skin care cosmetics and at the same time helps in reducing their environmental impact, look no further. At Ultraceuticals, we combine the best of both worlds – effective products void of parabens, synthetic fragrances, and other harsh chemicals and sustainable packaging solutions such as recyclable product cartons and biodegradable shipping bags. Our cleansers, moisturisers, and mask tubes are also recyclable and manufactured locally using solar energy.

As a leading skin care company in Australia, Ultraceuticals offers both homecare and professional in-clinic treatments tailored for specific skin type and skin concern. To better serve our customers, we also provide free online consultations where you can talk with one of our skin experts who can prescribe the best skin care products or professional treatments based on your skin type.

What is the best skin care routine?

The best skin care routine first starts with knowing your exact skin type. If you’re still unsure of it, visit Ultraceuticals and answer our skin quiz. With just a few clicks, you’ll know your skin type, skin concerns, and the recommended professional skin care products for you.

Meanwhile, your morning skin care routine should always start with clean hands. This is to avoid transferring bacteria to your face, which may cause irritation, acne, and other skin infections.

With clean hands, wet your face and apply a cleanser suited for your skin type. If you have dull, congested, or oily skin, opt for a foam cleanser or gel cleansers infused with mild exfoliating ingredients that help slough off the top layer of dead skin cells, leaving your complexion radiant and smooth. But if you have sensitive skin, try using milk-based cleansers with nourishing ingredients that can clean and at the same time hydrate your face.

Next is serum. This product has a thinner consistency than creams and moisturisers, so the skin absorbs its ingredients quickly and deeply. Opt for a product infused with natural ingredients and antioxidants like Vitamin C to nourish your skin and improve its texture. You may also consider face skincare with Retinol serum Australia if you want to achieve a youthful-looking and revitalised complexion.

After the serum, apply your favourite moisturiser to keep your skin hydrated, supple, and plump. If you have dry skin, opt for something with a thicker, creamier consistency, but if you have oily skin, opt for something lightweight and fast absorbing.

It might seem like overkill, but sunscreen is an essential part of your morning skin care routine, even on cloudy days and during cold seasons. Regardless of your skin type, always opt for a product with a formula that says ‘broad spectrum’, which means it helps protect you against both UVA and UVB rays. Also, make sure that your UV sunscreen offers at least SPF30 or SPF50

If you regularly put on makeup after your morning skin care routine, you can always wear sunscreen underneath your foundation, as you’ll want the skin conditioning ingredients to be as close to your skin as possible. Even if your foundation and makeup products are already formulated with SPF, don’t rely on them; in the long run, your skin will thank you for adding another layer of protection.

In the evening, swap your sunscreen with a serum formulated to address your skin concern, e.g., enlarged pores, dull complexion, skin laxity, dryness, etc. At Ultraceuticals, we offer a wide range of corrective serums formulated to provide visible results within 90 days.

You may also include eye creams if you need additional hydration or would like to minimise the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles around your eyes.

How to choose the best skin care products?

To reiterate, the best skin care products depend on your skin type. For this reason, Ultraceuticals recommends starting your skin care journey with a consultation with one of our skin experts who can prescribe the best homecare or clinic treatment for your specific skin type and concern.

Once you have determined your skin type, consider a skincare supplier whose products don’t contain harsh chemicals like parabens, synthetic dyes, artificial fragrances, and propylene glycol.

Also, make sure your skin care products have been clinically tested to provide visible results within 90 days. As a leading skin care company, Ultraceuticals regularly conducts in-clinic trials to demonstrate the effectiveness of our products. However, we don’t conduct animal testing, and we’re extremely proud that Ultraceuticals is widely recognised in the industry for developing award-winning cosmeceutical skincare products that are cruelty free.

How to apply skin care products?

The application process makes each skin care product more effective. That being said, follow our tips to reap the full benefits of your daily routine.

Cleanser

Wet your face with warm water and apply your cleanser using your fingertips, moving them in circular motions. Next, rinse off with cold or normal-temperature water. Pat dry.

Serum

Using your fingertips, pat the product onto your skin (don’t massage your face, just let the skin absorb it on its own). Use a pea-sized amount to cover your entire face.

Eye cream

If you need this product to help you achieve that youthful look around the eye area, apply this after the serum. Using your ring finger, pat it under your eyes and across the top of your brow and eyelids.

Moisturiser and face sunscreen

Gently massage the moisturiser onto the skin, and you can be more generous with the spread and amount than if you were using the serum. Use the same application technique for your UV sunscreen. A good rule of thumb is to wait about a minute in between each product.
