Ultraviolet radiation can be classified as UVA, UVB, or UVC.
UVA rays account for up to 95% of the UV radiation reaching the earth’s surface, and can penetrate clouds and glass. These UVA rays play a major part in photodamage and skin ageing. UVB rays are the chief cause of skin reddening and sunburn, damage which can also lead to premature skin ageing. Both UVA and UVB rays have the potential to cause skin cancers.

how to useSunActive SPF50+ Face Cream
Apply liberally to face and neck. Apply generous amounts to clean, dry skin 15-20 minutes before sun exposure, and again after swimming, toweling or exercising.
Use in the morning.
Apply daily to face and neck. Apply generous amounts to clean, dry skin 20 minutes before sun exposure, and again after swimming, toweling or exercising. Reapply every 2 hours. Gently massage evenly to face and neck on clean, dry skin.
Warning: Avoid direct contact with eyes. Prolonged exposure to the sun should be avoided. Suitable protective clothing, hat and eyewear should be worn at all times in the sun.

- The best outdoor sunscreen madeI live and work in one of the hottest parts of Australia where the sun is that extreme & harshly intense that it has to be experienced to be believed. I've tried countless outdoor sunscreens and this is the best active facial sunscreen I've used. Non-shiny and hydrating, non-sticky, lightweight, doesn't cause irritation (many others cause chemical burns and most physical sunscreens can be very dehydrating and uncomfortable to wear on the face) and nourishes. It actually stays put and actually does the job! My face doesn't have that hot, burnt and dehydrated feeling like I get with other sunscreens after a day in the sun (even after reapplying constantly). Love that it has extra antioxidant protection. It's absolutely incredible. Please never stop making this product. I only wish it came in a bigger tube.*
