Ultraceutical products are made with a conscience and not tested on animals.

Are Ultraceuticals skincare products animal-friendly?

When you are searching for the right brand of skincare, the sheer amount of products available can be overwhelming. Not only do we want to find the best fit for our needs, but many of us are also wanting to be conscientious consumers, choosing products that are animal-friendly or cruelty free.

Thankfully, Ultraceuticals makes the choice simple.

Are Ultraceuticals products animal-friendly?

Ultraceuticals has been well recognised in the beauty industry as a leader in developing award-winning breakthrough cosmeceutical skincare products. As our country's climate is one of the harshest in the world, it is of vital importance to enable our customers to take good care of their skin to prevent the effects of photoageing.

We also like to make the right choices that don't harm or use animals in the processes to deliver skincare products to Australian consumers. The internationally-recognised organisation Choose Cruelty Free (CCF) has accredited us as 100% CRUELTY FREE.

Our range of skincare products contain high levels of active ingredients are tested only on willing human participants. This is so we can deliver great results without compromising on quality.

Better for animals, better for your skin

Ultraceuticals products are free of parabens and synthetic dyes, derived from environmentally-friendly ingredients from sustainable resources.

Why don't we test on animals? Well, firstly, animal testing is in no way an indication that certain ingredients are safe for humans. CCF explains in length how animal testing only determines if a substance is toxic, and not how, unfortunately to the detriment of animal health and welfare. This cruelty is unnecessary, and most of the time, as further evidenced by case studies outlined by CCF, results from animal testing aren't accurate enough to predict the same amount of toxicity in human use.

Of course, that doesn't mean Ultraceuticals products contain untested ingredients. Over the past three years, we have rigorously reviewed and renewed the ingredients in our products to ensure they contain only safe, gentle substances that have been proven to bring great results to Australian skincare.

Better for Australia

You can use our range of skincare products with a clear conscience, knowing that no animals were harmed in the process of incorporating the latest ingredients and technologies.
